Phlebotomy training in New Port Richley can be done at Pasco-Hernando Community College. This has a 5.5 credit program just in Phlebotomy and here you are also required to take a criminal background check. The course takes about 10 weeks with a roughly 50/50 split of both laboratory work and work with patients.

The Florida Medical Training Institute offers an approved Phlebotomy/EKG Technician Training Course. The course lasts 150 clock hours, of which 30 are spent in classroom learning and 120 are spent at a clinical externship. The Pasco Hernando Community College offers an approved phlebotomy training programs that takes 5.5 technical credit hours. The program costs a total of $507 and by the end of the program you will be eligible to write a certifying exam. This phlebotomy training program is among the most affordable options available to students considering it is a properly approved course. Throughout the course, students will learn about medical and interpersonal theory related to phlebotomy, in addition to taking practical and clinical courses.
